Who We Are
About Us
El Capitan Energy develops, constructs, owns, and operates utility-scale renewable energy projects and digital infrastructure in North America. The company was established in 2024 by a group of experienced leaders in the energy industry, with decades of combined experience originating and commercializing large-scale infrastructure projects. Our team has originated and developed over 10 GW of renewable energy capacity, including wind, solar, battery energy storage, and transmission and has successfully constructed and financed over 3.5 GW of capacity.
What We Do
El Capitan Energy develops large-scale infrastructure projects at the intersection of renewable energy generation and digital assets (hyperscale data centers). The company's investment strategy is focused on greenfield development through identifying opportunities that are supported by compelling fundamental supply and demand dynamics and efficiently executing early-stage project development to minimize project risks.
We take a very proactive approach to project development, working hand-in-hand with landowners, community stakeholders, various levels of government, and customers to collaboratively bring our projects to life.
